PGA Show 2020: Euforeia Golf

February 26, 2020

Euforeia Golf was started “as a paradise for freethinkers, outsiders, and good-time subscribers,” and offered a range of golf apparel with a side of funk. Founder Patrick Farris’ dream, however, wasn’t just to start and own an apparel company. His goal leading up to the 2020 PGA Show was to do something different, to introduce “the golf glove reimagined.”

Farris did that by “recreating the golf glove from the wrist up.” Euforeia Golf took everything about the golf glove into account with their design: form, fit, feel, style, function, comfort and durability. Debuted at the show, their new gloves had been in the works for a long time three years in fact and what they came up with is fascinating. The majority of their gloves look more like BMX gloves than not, with bright colors and a velcro closure strap they call a Targa Speed Closure. Once I tried one on though, it definitely felt like I should be gripping a club and not the handlebars of a bike. There are four base models and 11 total designs that range from more traditional, all the way to a glove that looks like it came straight from a Grateful Dead concert.

Love Glove

The Love Glove is one of the more traditional gloves. It is made entirely of premium Italian lambskin,1 which they say is thinner (0.45mm) and more durable than traditional Cabretta. It uses their Modern Classic closure strap, their Kush-Cuff (made from neoprene), and their PureFit design.

Launch: Spring 2020

MSRP: $40

Pro+Flite

The Pro+Flite (pictured above, left) uses their PRIMOCOOL material on top for breathability, has the Kush-Cuff, uses AA Cabretta for the palm and fingers and features their Targa Speed Closure strap. The PRIMOCOOL material is a proprietary performance material that simulates the same tension as leather, but is more breathable and allows the designs to be printed on it. The Black Label version uses premium Italian leather (pictured), while the standard design uses AA Cabretta and comes in white and orange.

Launch: Spring 2020

MSRP: Black Label: $40, White, Orange: $35

Stone Age

Like the Love Glove, the Stone Age (pictured above, right) is made completely out of premium Italian lambskin, including the material around the wrist. Since it does not have the Kush Cuff and uses the Modern Classic closure strap, this is probably their most traditional glove as far as material and design go.

Launch: Spring 2020

MSRP: $45

Pro+Flite Poppy

They have a ladies version of the Pro+Flite that emphasizes a more feminine design while maintaining all the expected Euforeia flair and craftsmanship. It will utilize the premium Italian lambskin for the leather part of the glove.

Launch: Spring 2020

MSRP: $40

Flag Hunter

The Flag Hunter (pictured above, left) has a slash of their PRIMOCOOL material on the bottom part of the glove and features the Targa Speed Closure. The white version uses AA Cabretta leather, while the Black Label version (pictured below, right) uses the premium Italian lambskin.

Launch: Spring 2020

MSRP: White: $30, Black: $35

Tourismo

The Tourismo glove (pictured above, right) uses the PRIMOCOOL material on top and AA Cabretta on the palm side. It comes in the green/white design pictured above, and a blue/red/white design.

Launch: Spring 2020

MSRP: $35

Wake the Dead

The Wake the Dead model uses PRIMOCOOL material on the top, premium Italian lambskin for the palm side, has the Kush-Cuff, the Targa Speed Closure and comes in two very distinct styles: the black and white checkered version (pictured above, left), and a multi-colored psychedelic design.

Launch: Spring 2020

MSRP: $35
