Dynamic Brands is the parent company for a host of brands under its umbrella, including BagBoy, Datrek, Burton and many more. I walked into their booth and was immediately greeted by a rep who offered to show me all of the new products they had at the show this year. Unfortunately, that meant that I forgot to take a picture of the booth itself, but thankfully they have one up on their Instagram page.

With a plethora of bags, carts and accessories, there was plenty to gawk at, but we were on a mission, and the new products were in our sights.
BagBoy Nitron
Though it was released last year, the Nitron is one of their newer consumer-grade push carts. It features their Nitro-Piston technology that allows single-step, easy opening. Here is a video from the company showing the quick deployment:
It is fairly compact at 19″x13.5″x22″ when folded up and weighs in at 16.75 lbs. It uses their Top-Lok attachment that works with BagBoy and Datrek golf bags but also has a bungee-cord style strap for use with bags that don’t have the Top-Lok technology. It comes in eight different colors: black/red (pictured, back), graphite/charcoal, silver/black, battleship gray/lime, navy/red, battleship gray/pink, white/cobalt (pictured, front) and lime/black (pictured, center/folded down).
Launch: 2019
MSRP: $259.95
BagBoy Quad Junior
The BagBoy Quad Junior is the literal little brother to the company’s Quad XL. It’s smaller size fits junior golf bags, while the four-wheel design adds stability, so it’s easier for the junior golfers to maneuver the cart. It also has an adjustable handle, so as the golfer grows taller, the cart can still accommodate them until the time comes to buy a full-sized push cart. Its folded dimensions are 21″x17.75″x12″ and weighs 11.75 lbs. It comes in black/red (pictured) and white/cobalt.
Launch: January 2020
MSRP: $189.95
BagBoy Quad XLR
The Quad XLR is the rental version of the Quad XL. Only sold to golf courses and is made to withstand heavier use (and abuse). Additionally, the upper bag bracket is removable for rental control.
Launch: January 2020
MSRP: n/a
I Gotcha Jawz
The new ball retriever from I Gotcha is the Jawz. Instead of a traditional basket-style head, the compact head is a flat circle that has a rubberized interior to grip the ball. It comes in three different lengths. The six-foot version weighs 8oz and collapses to 15.5″, the 10-foot weighs 10oz and collapses to 17.5″, and the 14-foot which weighs 19oz and collapses to 21″.
Launch: Late 2019
MSRP: 6′: $19.95, 10′: $29.95, 14′: $39.95
BagBoy Limited Edition USA CB-15 and HB-14
Last on the list of new products is the limited edition USA version of the CB-15 and HB-14 bags. The CB-15 is a cart bag with a 15-way organizer top with a dedicated putter well. It has the Top-Lok technology, which integrates with their push carts and features nine pockets. The HB-14 is a carry bag with a 14-way organizer top, has a swivel clip system for easily attaching and detaching the shoulder straps, also has the Top-Lok technology. It has an insulated cooler sleeve and seven pockets.
Launch: May 1, 2020
MSRP: $159.95 (both models)

My full-time job has always been in the IT world, but I’ve also spent the better part of a decade writing product reviews and helping cover large industry-only trade shows. It was only in the latter part of 2019 that I put two and two together and realized I should be doing the same thing for something I’ve loved my whole life — golf. This is the culmination of a hobby that started as a child, a hobby that turned into a passion as an adult, and finally a passion that turned into The Golden Ferret.
